Meera Rathore asked to enter the Taj Mahal, saying that Lord Shiva appeared in her dream and told her to bring the Kanwar. She mentioned that the rules don’t allow changing the route. But officials, using these same rules, refused to let her in. Rathore stood with her Kanwar at the barrier at the western gate. Many Hindu activists came to the scene and tried to convince her.

After the police talked to her, the woman went to Rajeshwar Temple instead. A police team followed her for safety. Hindu activists, chanting slogans, also helped her get to the temple, where the Kanwar was offered in a ceremony.
