Weather Update: Delhi-NCR people woke up to a pleasant rainy morning on Tuesday. It turns the weather mood and set everything on green mode. However, there are chances of rain with thunderstorms in many areas. Along with the rain, hail is also likely to fall in many areas.
Western Disturbance is causing rain. Even today, there are chances of rain in many areas of Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. At the same time, there may be scattered snowfall in many places. Today, rain is likely in parts of North Punjab, North Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.
Tuesday morning started with rain in Delhi-NCR. Here in the early hours of Tuesday, heavy rain started in many areas along with strong wind. In many areas, there has been heavy rain along with thunder and lightning. Due to this, there has been a drop in the temperature of the weather.

MID had already predicted rain in Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department had expressed the possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR due to Western Disturbance. Earlier on Monday, where people felt the heat due to sunshine in the afternoon, in the evening, once again the mood of the weather changed. Due to this the weather has become pleasant. But the problems of the farmers have increased. Due to rain and strong wind, there is an estimate of damage to wheat and mustard crops standing in the fields.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain is possible in western Himalayan regions for two hours. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers very likely over parts of Punjab and Haryana and North Rajasthan, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.

Light to moderate rain and thundershower very likely over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and isolated rain over rest of Northeast India and Sikkim. Light to moderate rains are possible over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
