WEATHER UPDATE, FORECAST: The Meteorological Department has predicted light to heavy rain in Five States of the country During the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, and south Chhattisgarh.
However, the weather remains sunny and pleasant in Delhi-NCR regions, according to Skymetweather forecast.
With the commencement of north-westerly winds, conditions incoming favourable for the withdrawal of monsoon from some parts of Northwest and Central India.

A cyclonic circulation is over Comorin area extending up to 1.5 Km above mean sea level.
Another cyclonic circulation is over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining areas.
Weather Activity in the last 24 hours in Central India:
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, and south Chhattisgarh.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells occurred over South Madhya Maharashtra.
Light to moderate rain occurred over Northeast India, interior Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and South Gujarat.
Light rain occurred over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Lakshadweep.

Weather Activity in the next 24 hours in South India:
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells is possible over Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain is possible over Assam, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa and the rest of Chhattisgarh.
Light rain is possible over Sikkim and Vidarbha.
