Weather Update: It is noticed that the weather is swiftly changing across the nation. The mountains are covered in a thick layer of snow. Many parts of the country, including Bangalore, are experiencing rain. However, the weather remains same in Delhi-NCR regions, according to skymetweather.
Weather Systems:
A low-pressure area has formed over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. An associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6 Km above mean Sea level. It is likely to move in west-northwest direction and concentrate into a depression by October 22nd over the Central and adjoining South East Bay of Bengal. It may intensify into a cyclonic storm over the west-central Bay of Bengal in the subsequent 48 hours.

A trough is extending from North Andaman Sea to Tamil Nadu coast.
A cyclonic circulation is persisting over the East Central Arabian Sea near Maharashtra coast. A north south trough is extending from Kerala coast to the cyclonic circulation over West-central Arabian Sea. Western disturbance is moving away eastwards.
Weather Activity in the last 24 hours in northern region:
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
light to moderate rain and snowfall occurred over Jammu and Kashmir, part of Himachal Pradesh and at one or two places of Uttarakhand.
Light to moderate rain with occurred over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, south Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, south Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Light rain occurred over coastal Karnataka, Odisha and isolated over Arunachal Pradesh.

Weather Activity in the next 24 hours:
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur over the Western Himalayas during the next 24 hours and will reduce thereafter.
Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain is possible over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over south Chhattisgarh.
Light rain is possible over Konkan and Goa and Odisha.
