Weather Alert: Monsoon rains are occurring in many areas of the country. Due to this, rivers are in spate at many places and flood-like conditions remain. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in many parts of the country today as well.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a forecast of rain in many states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Goa for the next today and tomorrow. Along with this, rain is forecast in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra on August 15 and 16.

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi today. The rain is expected to continue for the next three days. Actually South-West Monsoon is active over West and East Rajasthan. The weather remains dry over North-West India. Light rain has been recorded in some states of North India. In this episode, there may be rain in Delhi-NCR for the next three days from today.

A red alert has been issued for heavy rain in Odisha today. There is a possibility of heavy rain and flood like situation in many districts here. There is a possibility of light rain in some areas of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, it may rain in parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh today. There is also a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar.

Rain is also expected in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa today. It is being told that due to the formation of a new weather system, heavy rain may occur in parts of Odisha, Jharkhand and Bengal. According to the IMD, a new low pressure area is likely to form in Odisha.
