Water Crisis Extends To Delhi’s VIP Areas! NDMC Issues Advisory For Once-A-Day Supply

The NDMC has issued an alert regarding water shortages in the Lutyens’ Zone area. NDMC officials announced on Monday that the Tilak Marg and Bengali Market underground reservoirs are receiving less water from the Delhi Jal Board, affecting water supply in parts of Lutyens’ Delhi.

Delhi Water Crisis Now Affecting VIP Areas!

More than a week has passed, and Delhi’s water crisis shows no signs of resolving. Several areas have been declared dry zones, and residents are struggling for every drop of water. The BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party have begun blaming each other. The Delhi Police have increased surveillance on the pipelines. The Delhi Police team is continuously monitoring the water pipelines. Water Minister Atishi had requested assistance from the Delhi Police, prompting increased surveillance and the commencement of patrolling.

Meanwhile, a water shortage is now also set to impact Delhi’s VIP zones. The NDMC has issued an alert regarding water shortages in the Lutyens’ Zone area. NDMC officials reported on Monday that the Tilak Marg and Bengali Market underground reservoirs are receiving less water from the Delhi Jal Board, which will affect the water supply in parts of Lutyens’ Delhi.

As a result, water supply will be impacted in areas such as Bengali Market, Ashoka Road, HC Mathur Lane, Copernicus Marg, Purana Quila Road, Babar Road, Barakhamba Road, KG Marg, Windsor Place, Firozshah Marg, Canning Lane, and surrounding regions. The NDMC has urged residents to conserve water and use it wisely.
