New Delhi: Amit Shah Viral Video: Union Home Minister Amit Shah briefly paused his speech during a rally in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district as ‘Azaan’ was going on in a nearby mosque.
In the middle of his address of about half an hour, the senior BJP leader stopped and asked the people present on the stage, “Is something going on in the mosque”? And when someone on stage told him that ‘Azaan’ was going on, Shah stopped his speech. His decision was welcomed by the people with applause and slogans in his favor.
After halting his address, Shah said that the ‘Azaan’ had now stopped and asked the people if he could continue his speech. He asked the people present there “Should I start or not? Say it out loud.” Then he continued his speech at the behest of the people.
