Vistara, the prominent airline in India, has been in the spotlight recently for unfavorable reasons. Reports have emerged of numerous flight delays and cancellations, leading to significant inconvenience for many passengers. Jointly owned by Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, it has faced over 100 flight delays or cancellations in recent days.
Furthermore, it has been reported that the airline has temporarily scaled back the number of flights to maintain sufficient connectivity across its network.
One frustrated passenger took to X, previously known as Twitter, to express dissatisfaction with Vistara. They posted: “#Vistara #UK827 from Bombay to Chennai delayed for over 5 hours with no confirmation yet. Absolutely pathetic.”
Another passenger launched a scathing critique against the airline, stating that their flight was abruptly canceled citing operational reasons. The customer mentioned that they had rescheduled their booking from 5 am to 9 pm, yet the flight eventually departed at 11. Expressing frustration, the passenger questioned the airline’s regard for its customers’ time and money, particularly as a CV Gold member disappointed by the poor service.

This isn’t the first instance where Vistara has left its passengers in a difficult situation, with long waits at boarding gates. Previously, the airline made headlines when a significant number of pilots called in sick, leading to widespread disruptions in service across the nation.
The company acknowledged the inconvenience caused and assured customers that they are actively working to maintain flight schedules and provide seamless connectivity to their passengers.
