A recent video surfaced where a group of boys was doing a dangerous stunt on the streets of Bengaluru. This has gathered huge attention online and has compelled the local police to take immediate action against them. The video, shot from inside a moving car, showed the boys with none of them wearing helmets, pulling off a rash one-wheel stunt. To add to the chaos, another individual, who rode triple on a bike, can be seen provoking the person behind the camera. This video had gone viral, garnering more than 92,000 views and attracting wide concern from the public.

The incident caught the attention of the Bengaluru Police, who immediately acted to take into custody those behind the dangerous act of driving. According to the Hebbal Traffic Police Station, a total of 44 people involved in such hazardous activities were taken into custody, and 33 cases against them were registered. Vehicles used for stunts were also taken into custody by the police. An investigation is underway, and more details are yet to come as authorities continue their crackdown on such reckless behavior.

Police crackdown on dangerous road stunts

Seeing the video, Bengaluru Police shared the clip on their social media and warned others who might want to do similar stunts. ‘Wheeling on city roads? Our officers are always ready to bring your adventure to a halt.’ The bold message was well-received by social media users who appreciated the cops for their quick action.

However, the long-term effect of the incident is to bring to the fore the issue of illegal stunts on city roads. One user reacted, ‘Even after taking this kind of action, this type of incidents are increasing day by day. We need to do something different.’ Another urged, ‘Arrest and put this idiot in jail for at least 10 days. Every day driving a bike against these illiterate idiots is a nightmare in Bangalore.’ One comment read, ‘Bengaluru Police is like Chitragupta, meting out instant karma before it even reaches Yamaraja.’

The efforts of Bengaluru Police in containing such reckless acts are not a one-off incident. In another instance, frustrated citizens of Bengaluru took things into their own hands and pushed the vehicles off the flyover to prevent such stunts. The Nelamangala traffic police booked the stunt performers who got caught performing acts on Independence Day.
