This fire engulfed the Laddu Counter of Lord Venkateswara Temple. The incident took place on Monday afternoon.
According to media reports, this fire incident happened during the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam. This created a situation of panic as the devotees were taking prasadam.
As per media reports, it happened at counter number 47. devotees vacated the area, after the fire flames emerged in the counter.
After the fire flames started rising, the staff immediately rushed to the incident spot.
TTD JEO, Venkaiah Chowdary stated that, “fire accident occurred in the area where laddu prasadam is distributed to devotees, leading to panic among the crowd. The fire broke out at counter number 47 due to a short circuit in the UPS system connected to the computer. The staff immediately rushed to the spot and made efforts to bring the flames under control.”
