Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar‘s recent comments about the mustache of UP DGP Prashant Kumar have captured widespread attention. Speaking at an event at Hansraj College in Delhi, Dhankhar humorously praised Kumar’s mustache, likening it to the iconic dialogue by Amitabh Bachchan, ‘If you have a mustache, it should be like Nathulal’s.’ He quipped that Kumar’s mustache rivals Nathulal’s, prompting laughter from the audience.
In his address, the Vice President also highlighted the significant challenges faced by the UP DGP in leading India’s most populous state, which has a population exceeding that of many countries. He commended Kumar for his tireless efforts in maintaining law and order in Uttar Pradesh.

A 1990 batch IPS officer, Prashant Kumar is known for his strict demeanor and is regarded as one of the most trusted officers in the Yogi Adityanath administration. Before his current role as UP DGP, he served as the ADG of Meerut. Originating from the Siwan district in Bihar, Kumar has been awarded the Gallantry Award four times, most recently on January 26th.
