Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday shared an optimistic vision for the state’s future during the inaugural event of Uttar Pradesh Divas at Awadh Shilpgram in Lucknow. Speaking at the event, he outlined that UP is set to become a USD 1 Trillion economy in the next four years. Meanwhile, he also highlighted that the state is proceeding towards becoming a zero-poverty state. The three-day event was graced by Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar and Governor Anandiben Patel.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister reflected on the state’s remarkable progress since the first celebration of Uttar Pradesh Day in 2018 under then-governor Ram Naik. Among the initiatives launched in recent years are the One District One Product scheme, the Vishwakarma Shram Samman, etc. These schemes are part of the broader vision aimed to elevate Uttar Pradesh on the national and global stage.
CM noted, “In 2016-17, UP’s economy stood at Rs 12 lakh crore. It is over Rs 27 lakh crore today. Within the next four years, the state will become a USD 1 trillion economy, aligning with PM Modi’s vision.”
Additionally, CM Yogi spoke about the Constitution of India and its significance. He said, “This year is very important as the constitution that was handed over to the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, 75 years of enforcement of this constitution will be completed in upcoming two days.”
