The situation intensified when several BJP legislators attempted to storm the well of the house in protest against the placard displayed by Mir. In response, assembly marshals intervened on the directions of Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather, forcibly removing at least ten BJP MLAs from the chamber. AIP MLA Sheikh Khurshid was also marshalled out during the commotion.
Following the removal of their colleagues, the remaining BJP MLAs staged a walkout in protest, leaving the assembly proceedings in disarray. Speaker Abdur Rahim Rather instructed the marshals to prevent any further disruptions, but the uproar continued as members exchanged heated remarks.
