A murder incident where the son allegedly killed his own father has recently come to light. A lifeless body was discovered on a village farm, and the deceased’s son, identified as Satyendra, has been implicated with the alleged homicide, according to local authorities on Thursday.

The murder charge against the son stems from a formal complaint lodged by the victim’s family. The grim discovery was made in the late hours of Wednesday evening on a farm located in the village of Bharkauli.

As per the Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, a body was unearthed late at night on a farm adjacent to the highway in Bharkauli village, falling within the jurisdiction of the Dhanari police station. He disclosed that the individual met a drastic end due to the use of a sharp-edged weapon.

The SP further confirmed the identity of the deceased as Rakesh Kumar, a 42-year-old resident of Bharkauli village, and stated that the body had been transferred for a post-mortem examination.

Based on a formal complaint lodged by the family members of the deceased, who held suspicions that Rakesh met his demise at the hands of his son, law enforcement authorities have officially registered a case of murder against Satyendra, the SP confirmed.

In an effort to gather more evidence and apprehend the suspect, authorities deployed a K-9 unit to the location. Additionally, they are scrutinizing nearby CCTV footage for any potential leads.
