How Will The Authorities Protect UP Board Exam Papers?
To ensure the protection and confidentiality of question papers, Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar has issued directions to all DMs, police commissioners, SSPs, secondary education directors, UP Board secretary, and divisional joint directors of education.
A secure room separate from the principal's room will be converted into a strong room to store exam question papers and records. This strong room will include two almirahs to store these goods.
The question papers received before the examination will be kept in the first double-locked closet. The remaining question papers and bundle slips will be stored in the second cupboard. High-quality night vision CCTV cameras will be placed to effectively monitor the strong room and cupboards. The DVRs for these CCTVs will have a recording capacity of at least 30 days.
Security Preparations In The Examination Hall
When the question papers and answer sheets arrive at the examination center, the recordings of the strong room and the CCTV cameras installed in the examination hall for the entire exam period must be kept safe for at least six months and made available to the board if necessary.
In addition, the static magistrate stationed at the center will keep the keys to the strong room safe.
The two locks will only be opened in the presence of a stationary magistrate. If the question paper is taken before the start of the examination, the static magistrate, center administrator, and external centre administrator shall be held liable. No officer or employee can enter the strong room with a cell phone.
