New Delhi: Two unidentified terrorists were killed in an encounter in Kashmir. The clash broke out between terrorists and security forces a few hours ago. The clash occurred at Pushkari Kanilwan area of Anantnag in South Kashmir.
Following the information of presence of terrorists in the area, the police and army conducted a joint search operation. As the security forces approached towards the identified spot in the Pushkari Kanilwan area they received incoming fires.

The terrorists were vividly hiding behind a cover. They started firing on the security forces as they saw them approaching. Following this an outbreak of a gunfight was witnessed.
The security forces successfully neutralized the terrorists. The identity of the dead terrorist is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the hiding spot of the terrorists. Search operations are still underway in the area.
