Karnataka: In a shocking incident, a woman was arrested on Tuesday, October 22 for allegedly killing her husband with the help of two of her accomplices for financial gains. Police have identified the victim as a 54-year-old real estate businessman from Telangana, Hyderabad.
Niharika is accused of having murdered her husband to take over his assets worth Rs 8 crore. It is alleged that she committed the brutal crime with her lover Ankur and friend Nikhil. All three have been arrested.
Reports revealed that the killers drove to a coffee estate in Suntikoppa, Kodagu district, where they set ablaze the body.

The half-decomposed body of the businessman was found at Panya Estate near Suntikoppa, police said. Four special teams of 16 officers were formed to investigate the incident. The Kodagu police later contacted their counterparts in Telangana to gather more information about the victim’s personal life.
According to the police, 29-year-old Niharika had strangulated the victim to death in Uppal in Hyderabad, drove his car to Bengaluru, and then to Kodagu to dispose his body. Niharika came back to Hyderabad and filed a missing complaint for her husband, police said.
The police arrested Niharika and Nikhil on October 22. Ankur was later arrested from Uttarakhand’s Haridwar.
