A minor student was gang-raped in Kota, Rajasthan’s coaching hub. As per the police officials, the crime was committed by the fellow students of the victim, and have now been arrested. But, this incident has sparked a question whether the students, especially girls are safe even at their work and educational institutions.

According to police, the victim’s friends saw that she was scared and depressed following the crime and took her to a counselor. The victim then disclosed what had occurred, and the police continued. A dedicated unit of the Kota Police is questioning the detained suspect.
Questions Arise on Rajasthan’s Kota Coaching Centre
This most recent crime has once again brought attention to Kota’s tutoring sector, where approximately two lakh pupils are enrolled at any given time, some of them are alone and vulnerable because they are away from home for the first time.
