Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons was reportedly rushed to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday midnight after his health conditions went critical. According to a report by Mid-Day, the hospital sources confirmed that the 86-year-old industrialist was brought for medical care at around 12:30 am to 01:00 am after a significant drop in his blood pressure and was immediately rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU).

Tata who garners love and respect from across India for his philanthropy is being medically treated under a specialised team of Dr. Shahrukh Aspi Golwalla, a renowned cardiologist who is closely monitoring his health developments.
Industrialist calls it ‘unfounded’
However, the latest post by Ratan Tata on his Instagram account gives his well-wishers a sigh of relief. He has labelled headlines on his health reports as ‘rumours’ and refuted them all. He writes in his post – “I am aware of recent rumors circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age and related medical conditions.”

The generous philanthropist further writes – “There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits and request that the public and media respect refrain from spreading misinformation.”
Philantrophy is his second name
Born on December 28, 1937 Ratan Naval Tata aka Ratan Tata isn’t just another industrialist from India but he is widely known as a philanthropist and a prolific investor. He has boosted many budding entrepreneurs and invested in more than 30 start-up companies in his own capacity and via his investment company.
