Land For Job Scam: Delhi Court Grants Bail To RJD Chief Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi And Others

Land For Job Scam: In a significant move, the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and eight others, including his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav in the land for job money laundering case on Monday.

According to reports, the court released them on condition that they furnish a bail bond of Rs. 1 lakh each. Lalu Prasad Yadav was accompanied by his daughter and party MP Misa Bharti & other party leaders as they arrived at the court

The next date for this case is tentatively scheduled for October 25.

Tejashwi Yadav said in a media statement, “They keep indulging in political conspiracy. They misuse agencies. There is nothing concrete in this case. Our victory is certain.”

In a significant move, the court ordered all accused persons to surrender their passports. On September 18, the court summoned Lalu Yadav and nine others after going through the chargesheet of the Enforcement Directorate. The court observed that a significant amount of land had been transferred inappropriately, and it was alleged that, in these transactions, members of the Yadav family abused their positions.
