Rajnath Singh Urges PoK Residents To ‘Come And Join India’

"We see you as our own, unlike Pakistan, which considers you as foreigners," Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated in a public rally, in Jammu's Ramban.

While addressing a public gathering in Ramban area of Jammu recently, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh urged the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to join India.

He said, “We see you as our own, unlike Pakistan, which considers you as foreigners.” In this context, he cited an affidavit from Pakistan’s additional solicitor general that labels PoK as foreign land.

Defence Minister Highlights ‘Sea Change’ In J&K

The Defence Minister highlighted that there has been a ‘sea change’ in Jammu and Kashmir’s safety situation after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. He asked the youths of J&K to carry laptops now instead of pistols, as no one will dare to shoot them in Srinagar. 

He stated that Indian army never discriminated. He further noted that abrogating Article 370 was aimed at bringing prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

He also asked the J&K people to publicly condemn BJP for any wrongdoing as the party doesn’t seek support by keeping them in the dark.

Rajnath Singh Declares J&K Will Top India’s States

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh confidently expressed that under BJP government for the next 10 years, Jammu and Kashmir would become the topmost state in India. He highlighted India’s economic rank from being 11th to 5th worldwide and claimed that by 2027, India would rank third in the world in terms of economy.
