Recently, Officials said the Rajasthan government suspended three resident doctors of a government hospital here on Thursday for negligence after they denied admission to a pregnant woman, resulting in her delivering the child near the hospital’s gate.

According to an official statement, Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education, stated that upon learning of the matter, the department promptly formed an inquiry committee.

The statement mentioned that following the committee’s report, the authorities suspended three resident doctors from Kanwatia Hospital—Kusum Saini, Neha Rajawat, and Manoj—for their involvement in “serious negligence and insensitivity.”
What Did The Rajasthan Police Say?
The statement also said that the Kanwatia Hospital Superintendent Dr. Rajendra Singh Tanwar was issued a show cause notice for supervisory negligence in the case. Officials reported that the incident occurred on Wednesday when the pregnant woman was denied admission to the hospital. She went into labor while leaving and had to deliver the child near the hospital’s gate.
