Hit-and-Run Claims Life of Soham Patel in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune

In Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad area, a 35-year-old man named Soham Patel was fatally injured on November 30 when a speeding car struck him while he was setting off firecrackers on the roadside. The driver fled the scene immediately. CCTV footage captured the incident, but even after 48 hours, the police have been unable to locate the unidentified driver. A case has been filed, and the Ravet police are actively investigating the hit-and-run.

Children Injured in Explosion Caused by Firecrackers in Pune’s Sinhgad Area

Another incident in Pune’s Sinhgad area left five children injured when the lid of a drain chamber exploded after they placed firecrackers on it. Police are looking into the details of the explosion, which underscores the risks associated with setting off fireworks in unsafe locations.

The police have detained the suspect and are conducting a further investigation into the circumstances of the conflict.
