The incident took place on Saturday evening at around 7:45 PM near the Ber Sarai traffic light close to Vedant Deshika Marg. The two injured officers, Assistant Sub-Inspector Pramod and Head Constable Shailesh Chauhan, were conducting routine checks for traffic violations when the situation escalated. According to officials, a vehicle jumped a red light, and when Shailesh signaled for it to stop, the driver attempted to flee, dragging both officers for approximately 20 meters before speeding away.
