“The new Parliament building will make every Indian proud. This video offers a glimpse of this iconic building. I have a special request- share this video with your own voice-over, which conveys your thoughts. I will re-Tweet some of them. Don’t forget to use #MyParliamentMyPride,” said PM Modi

Major Opposition Parties announce to boycott the ceremony

In a joint letter on Wednesday, 19 Opposition parties announced to boycott inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building due to PM Modi’s decision to dedicate the infrastructure by himself that “completely sidelines” President Draupadi Murmu, said the signatories.

“When soul of democracy has been sucked out from Parliament, we find no value in new building,” read the joint statement.
