Rozgar Mela: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday provided around 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits through video conferencing.
Prime Minister addresses the appointees. The Rozgar Mela is a move towards the development of the society and towards the fulfillment of promises that PM had made to young generation to give the highest priority to them.

It is expected that the Rozgar mela will act as catalyst which enhance the employment and provide better opportunities to the youth for their upliftment and participation in the development of India.
The Rozgar mela under the NF Railway juridiction is held at three different locations- Guwahati in Assam, siliguri in North Bengal and Dimapur in Nagaland.

Union Minister of ports, shipping and waterways and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal handed over the appointment letters to the newly inducted recruitee at Railway Rang Bhawan Cultural Hall in Guwahati.
Union Minister of State in the ministry of petroleum and natural gas and ministry of labour and employment Rameswar Teli will hand over the appointments letters at Imiliyanger Memorial Centre, Dimapur.
The new recruits, selected from the different parts of the country, will assume many position/ posts under the government of India as- Train Manager, Station Master, Sr Commercial cum ticket clerk, Inspector, Sub Inspector, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, sr Draughtsman, JE/ supervisors, Assistant professors, teacher, librarian, Nurse, Probationary officers, PA, MTS, among others.

The new recruitees will also get a chance to train themselves through Karmyogi Prarambh, which is an online course for all new appointees in government departments.
