G-7 Summit: On the sideline of the G-7 summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Hiroshima, Japan. This is the first time both leaders met since the Russia-Ukraine conflict started in February last year.
As per the news agency ANI PM said, ” Ukraine war is a big issue in the world. I don’t consider it to be just an issue of economy, or politics, for me, it is an issue of humanity. India and I will do whatever we can for the resolution of war”

Earlier Today, the PM also held bilateral talks with top leaders of Vietnam, Korea and the Japanese PM.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hiroshima on Friday at the invitation of Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida to participate in the G7 Summit. On Saturday, PM Modi unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi there.
He offered flowers to Gandhi. After talking to reporters PM Modi said that it is a great moment for me that the Bodhi tree which I gifted to the Japanese PM has been planted here in Hiroshima so that people can understand the importance of peace when they come here.
