New Delhi: A video of a heated debate between a passenger and a railway staff surfaced on the internet over a ‘halal-certified’ tag printed on a tea bag cover.
In the video, widely shared on Twitter now, a passenger can be heard arguing with railway staff saying,” Sawan ka Mahina Chal rha hai aur aap halal chai pila rahe hain.” What is this written? What is this Halala certified?” a passenger was seen asking in a viral video.
In response to this, the official tried to control the situation and confirmed that it is only a kind of masala tea. “Chai Vegetarian hi hota hai sir. isme koi bhi chiz non-veg nhi hai” said the officials.
