NEET Controversy: Students Achieve High Ranks On 2nd Try

On Sunday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administered a retest of the NEET-UG examination for 1,563 candidates across six centers in four states and one Union Territory. According to the testing panel, 813 out of the total appeared for the retest, while 750 candidates did not participate.

The exam took place following the NTA’s decision to revoke additional marks granted to students who experienced delays in starting their exams at six centers in Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Chandigarh.

In Chhattisgarh, the exam was planned for two centers, where 602 candidates were eligible for the retest. Today, 291 aspirants attended the exam.
