Aukat nahi hai inki Pradhan Mantri ji aur Amit Shah ke baare mei bolne ki. Agar kuch bhi bola toh tumhari aukat mei nikalunga (Sit down. You have no stature to talk about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. I will put you in your place if you say something).”

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) criticized Rane’s behavior, accusing him of employing threatening language unbecoming of a minister. In a tweet, the AAP questioned whether the BJP minister would face suspension for his choice of words, similar to the suspension of Opposition MPs for questioning the Modi government.
