Nita Ambani paid a heartfelt tribute to the late industry stalwart Ratan Tata at the Reliance Industries Annual Diwali dinner recently, along with Mukesh Ambani & other family members, and thousands of employees. In her speech, she described the esteemed industrialist as ‘a great son of India’. She remembered him not only as a family friend but also as a mentor to her son, Akash Ambani.

She expressed profound grief over his passing, stating, “We lost a great son of India four days ago. The news of Ratan Tata’s passing filled us all with immense grief. He was a dear friend of my father-in-law, Dhirubhai Ambani, of Mukesh, and our family.”

Nita Ambani emphasized Ratan Tata’s legacy as a ‘visionary industrialist and philanthropist who always strove for society’s greater good.’ After her touching remarks, the Ambani family along with Reliance leadership, and employees observed a minute’s silence as a tribute to Tata.

Noel Tata, the half-brother of Ratan Naval Tata succeeded the late chairman at Tata Trusts. He was appointed as the Chairman of Tata Trusts after his demise.
