India is having various upcoming developmental projects which will be implementing this year and some of them are in proposed state. These expressways not only boosts connectivity but it makes a huge contribution in Country’s development.
The country is having most remarkable routes with different lengths. Among all these routes one is the country’s highest earning expressway.
This route is Mumbai-Pune Expressway which is leading in country’s tax collection. A per the data released by IRB Infra Trust confirms that this route has got the highest tax collection in December 2024.
The total tax collected on various routes in the country in Rs 580 crore. On the other hand, the Mumbai-Pune Expressway gave the Tax collection of Rs 163 crore, as reported by Zee News. This show a rise from December 2023. During December 2023 the toll collection was Rs 158.4 crore. The length of this route is around 94.5 Km. This generates the highest collection as compared to other expressways in India.
This is the country’s first 6 lane expressway. It comes under the most busiest and expensive expressway, as per media reports.
