The Vande Bharat Express is a high-speed train featuring modern facilities like Wi-Fi, reclining seats, and a dining section. The train is also projected to be more fuel-efficient than existing trains, which could lead to lower ticket pricing in the future. The opening of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express is intended to enhance tourism in Goa. The railway will provide a faster, more convenient, and ecologically responsible means of transportation between the two cities.

The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express was scheduled to depart from Madgaon station on June 3, but it was delayed due to the fatal train disaster in Odisha’s Balasore district on June 2.
