Gujarat: Aam Aadmi Party workers in Gujarat found it costly to put up objectionable posters against Prime minister Modi. On Friday (March 31), the police arrested a total of 8 accused and now they are interrogating them in this matter.
News agency ANI reported in its report, posters of Modi hatao, desh bachao are being put up in many areas of Ahmedabad. In this case, the police arrested 8 people. These arrests in Ahmedabad started after AAP’s poster campaign against PM Modi, posters with slogans of Modi hatao-Desh bachao were pasted on the walls of the city.
The Aam Aadmi Party unit of Gujarat has condemned this arrest. He tweeted and said, this step of the Gujarat Police has proved that democracy is in danger in the country.
In a press release, the Crime Branch of the Gujarat Police said that eight people have been arrested for damaging government property by pasting posters of Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao in areas like Inaspur, Maninagar, Vatva, Narol and Vadaj.

Police said these posters were put up by AAP workers on Thursday. After putting up these posters, the police registered FIRs against the accused in several police stations. Police identified these activists as Natwar Thakor, Jatin Patel, Kuldeep Bhatt, Bipin Sharma, Ajay Chauhan, Arvind Chauhan, Jeevan Maheshwari and Paresh Tulsiani.
