The Home Department has announced that the suspension of mobile internet will be lifted, but with certain restrictions.
Mobile internet will only be accessible through a static IP, and subscribers must not accept any other connection apart from the permitted one, with the TSP/ISP held accountable for any non-compliance.
The use of Wifi hotspots from routers and systems using the connection will not be allowed by the subscribers. The government took into account the inconvenience caused by the internet ban, affecting offices, institutions, people working from home, and various online services like mobile recharge, LPG cylinder booking, and payment of electricity bills.
Broadband internet suspension has been lifted in a liberalized manner, but certain terms and conditions must be fulfilled to ensure the smooth and regulated access to mobile internet services.
