Snake Bite Man In Fatehpur Attacked By Snake Every Weekend, Recovers Despite Repeated Incidents

A young man in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, faced six snake bites within a month and a half, recovering each time after hospital treatment, while doctors and family are perplexed by the repeated incidents.

A young man from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, was bitten six times by a snake within one and a half months. After treatment, the young man recovered completely. Due to fear, he left his home and started living at his uncle’s house. However, the snake bit him again. This has not only troubled the young man but also his family members. Doctors treating him are also surprised by the situation.

The incident took place in Saura village of Malwa Thana area. Vikas Dubey, a resident here, was bitten five times by a snake within one and a half months. The 24-year-old victim Vikas, speaking to ‘Aajtak’, said that on June 2nd at 9 PM, the snake bit him for the first time while getting off his bed. Subsequently, his family took him to a private nursing home where he was admitted for two days. After treatment, he recovered and returned home.

Repeated Snake Bite Incidents

Family members initially considered this a common incident. Subsequently, on the night of June 10th, the snake bit again. Following this, family members admitted him to a private nursing home for treatment, and after treatment, he returned home. Then, fear of snakes settled in his mind, and he began to be cautious. However, seven days later, on June 17th, the snake bit him again at home, worsening his condition. He was treated again at the same hospital and recovered thereafter.

The snake did not even let seven days pass before biting him again on the fourth day. When family members rushed him to the hospital for treatment, even the doctors were surprised. Despite this incident, he survived after treatment again. Relatives and doctors advised him to stay away from home for a few days. Accepting this advice, he went to stay at his aunt’s house in Radhanagar. There too, around midnight on Friday, he was bitten again by a snake at home.

Series Of Snake Bite Tragedies

After that, his family admitted him to the same hospital, from where they took him home after treatment. Following this, he went to his uncle Santosh Dubey’s house in Saura village of Malwa Thana area. However, on the afternoon of 6th July, he was sleeping at home when the snake bit him for the sixth time. As his condition deteriorated, family members rushed him to the same hospital in a hurry, where he had been treated before.

Snake Bite Pattern Identified

After treatment, he recovered again, and doctors have sent him back home. The youth also mentions that each time the snake bit him, it was either a Saturday or a Sunday. Doctors also note that he receives new marks from the bite each time. Anti-snake venom emergency medications are administered on each occasion.
