Thief Orchestrates Film-Style Heist At OYO Hotel In Surajpur, Greater Noida

A thief orchestrated a sophisticated theft at an OYO hotel in Greater Noida, booking rooms before fleeing with electronics, prompting a police investigation.

In Surajpur, Greater Noida, a thief orchestrated a film-style theft incident. Initially, he arrived at a hotel and booked four rooms. After booking the rooms, he claimed that his friends would also arrive later in the night and stay there.

He booked four rooms at a hotel in Greater Noida. Later that night, the thief fled with items including LED TVs and AC units. Upon discovering the incident in the morning, hotel management filed a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.

During the night, the crafty thief joined the bedsheets of one room to create a rope and fled from the hotel with two ACs, six LED lights, and other items. In the morning, the hotel manager was informed about the incident, prompting them to file a complaint with the police. Rahul, a resident of Phoolpur in Greater Noida, runs the OYO hotel in Surajpur.

The victim reported that on Saturday evening, a youth named Iftaar came to his OYO hotel and booked four rooms. After booking the rooms, he also paid their rent in advance. He mentioned that his companions would arrive later in the night and stay in the hotel rooms. Around 10:00 PM, the hotel manager left for his home, while his assistant remained at the hotel.

Around midnight, hotel gate were closed and after the assistant fell asleep, Iftaar joined the bedsheets of all the hotel rooms together to create a rope. He then climbed onto the hotel roof and used the rope to move two AC units, six LED lights, and other items to a nearby plot. He and his accomplices escaped with the stolen items from there.

The suspect Iftaar left his room around 4:00 AM and went outside, telling the assistant that he was going for a walk. While leaving, he mentioned that all four rooms were locked and he had the keys. When he did not return for a long time, the assistant became suspicious. Subsequently, at 6:00 AM, he checked the rooms and discovered that theft had occurred.

After notifying the hotel owner, he informed the police. The police informed about the theft at OYO, stating that necessary action is being taken upon receiving the report. Several teams have been formed to quickly uncover the incident. Additionally, authorities are searching for the suspect using nearby CCTV footage and surveillance methods. The case will soon be resolved.
