Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar’s faction has claimed that there is no legal sanctity of any meetings being conevened by Sharad Pawar, owing to the fact that he has been chosena as new party president.

On one such question, Ajit Pawar said there is no truth and importance of this statement.

“Now, whatever we need to say, we will say it before the Election Commission of India,” added NCP president Sharad Pawar.

Sharad Pawar further said that today’s party’s National Executive meeting in Delhi meeting helped boost party’s morale.
While talking to press, Sharad Pawar also took a dig at Ajit Pawar’s statement in which the latter had commented on the age of the NCP chief. Sharad Pawar said, “I am still effective, whether I am 82 or 92.”
