New Delhi: Supriya Sule, working president of Shiv Sena and daughter of Nationalist Congress chief (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday warned against insulting her father.
“Disrespect us, but not our father (Sharad Pawar). This fight is against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. BJP is the most corrupt party in the country,” said Sule in Mumbai.
Her remarks came after reports emerged that Ajit Pawar has staked claims over the NCP and its symbol. Sule said, “the original NCP is with Sharad Pawar and the original symbol is us.”
Meanwhile, Jayant Patil from Sharad Pawar’s group also sent a caveat to the ECI that they have initiated disqualification process against 9 MLAs who joined the Shinde-Fadnavis government on July 2.
