Madhya Pradesh: Man Rushes Ailing Grandfather To Hospital’s Emergency Ward On Bike

A man working as a contracted staff member at Satna’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel District Hospital caused a stir last Saturday when he brought his grandfather directly into the emergency ward on a motorcycle.

Deepak Gupta, a resident of Tikuriya Tola in the district, rode his motorcycle straight into the hospital’s emergency ward with his grandfather, Moti Lal Gupta, along with another person.

The man is then seen backing the bike out, causing a bit of a stir among other patients. He rushes back inside to check on his grandfather, as captured in the video. When the doctor of the emergency ward learns about the incident, they reprimand the man.

A video capturing the incident has now become viral on social media. Despite the hospital having proper stretchers and other amenities, there’s ongoing discussion regarding the actions of the outsourced employee in charge of patient charts. However, the hospital management has opted to stay silent on the issue.
