Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday expressed his confidence in winning the elections saying that the women of the state have supported us and they will ensure the victory of the BJP.

Chouhan statement came following the predictions of the exit polls 2023.

“…’Kaante ki takkar’, ‘Kaante ki takkar’…’Laadli behna ne saare kaante nikaal diye’…Whenever we used to go, women of the state were there wo support us”, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while talking to the media.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan confidently asserts about the exit polls, stating, “I have always maintained that there’s no competition in Madhya Pradesh, and BJP will secure a clear majority. The unwavering support and direction from PM Modi, the strategic planning by Amit Shah, the leadership of JP Nadda, the tireless efforts of our workers, and the effective government schemes all indicate that BJP is poised to secure a majority in the state.”

Exit Polls 2023

TV9 POLSTRAT’s exit polls suggest the ruling party could secure 106 to 116 seats, while Congress may gain 111 to 121 seats, potentially reinstating its hold. Other parties, including BSP, might win 0 to 6 seats, influencing the balance of power.

Times Now’s ETG survey predicts BJP securing 105-117 seats, while Congress is projected to win 109-125 seats in this election.

ABP News’ CVoter anticipates a notable gap between Congress and BJP. BJP’s estimated count is 88-112 seats, whereas Congress could secure 113-137 out of the 230 Madhya Pradesh seats.

India Today’s AXIS-My India paints a distinct picture, predicting a substantial win for BJP, crossing the majority mark with 140-162 seats, while Congress might secure 68-90 seats. Others, including BSP, may clinch 0-3 seats.

The conclusive poll outcomes for all five states will be announced on December 03, 2023.

Meanwhile, in 2018, Congress achieved a majority and Kamal Nath became the Chief Minister after Sonia Gandhi’s backing. However, the landscape swiftly changed when Jyotiraditya Scindia rebelled against the party, leading to Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s resurgence and Kamal Nath stepping down.
