JD(U) on Sunday, announced its list of candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections in Bihar. Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh has been nominated for the Munger constituency, while Lovely Anand will contest from Sheohar.

During a press conference, JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh stated, “The JD(U) has unveiled its candidates for all 16 seats it is contesting in Bihar. There were no conflicts in determining the seat-sharing arrangement and candidates among the NDA partners. Consensus was reached on all fronts”.

5. Madhepura: Dinesh Chandra Yadav
6. Jehanabad: Chandeshwar Prasad
7. Siwan: Vijayalakshmi Devi
8. Gopalganj: Alok Suman
9. Purnia: Santosh Kushwaha
10. Kishanganj: Master Mujahid Alam
11. Katihar: Dulalchand Goswami
12. Munger: Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh
13. Banka: Girdhari Yadav
14. Bhagalpur: Ajay Mandal
15. Nalanda: Kaushalendra Kumar

The Party Has Removed Several Names
The party has revoked Mahabali Singh’s candidacy for the Karakat seat as it has allocated this constituency to Upendra Kushwaha’s party. Similarly, the party has canceled Vijay Manjhi’s ticket for the Gaya seat as it has granted this constituency to Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party, Hindustani Awam Morcha. The party has withdrawn Sunil Kumar Pintu’s candidacy for Sitamarhi and nominated Dinesh Chandra Thakur in his place. In Siwan, the party has retracted Kavita Singh’s candidacy and nominated Rajlakshmi Kushwaha instead.
JD(U) has awarded tickets to 11 candidates from backward and extremely backward communities, while 3 tickets have been given to candidates from the upper caste and 2 seats to minorities.
