Taking a jibe at the INDIA Alliance, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday stated that the bloc will not be able to face the NDA in the upcoming polls 2024. He said “desh ki janata moye moye kar degi”.

Addressing a Rally, Rajnath Singh said that several opposition parties joined hands to compete with the saffron party.

He asserted that the is an alliance consisting of some self-seeking leaders which came to existence in order to fight the NDA and BJP. Singh also said, “Iss desh ki janata iska bhi moye moye kar degi.”

The viral ‘moye moye’ trend originated from a Serbian song called ‘Moye More’, officially released as ‘Dzanum’ by Serbian singer-songwriter Teya Dora. The song, with its lyrics depicting anguish and despair, gained immense popularity on TikTok and spread across various social media platforms. In India, netizens embraced the trend, creating hilarious Instagram reels and memes featuring the catchy tune.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swift action in facilitating the rescue and repatriation of 22,500 stranded Indian students from war-torn Ukraine, the speaker highlighted Modi’s diplomatic efforts in coordinating with leaders from various countries, including Russia and the US. He emphasized that no other world leader could have achieved such a feat.

Furthermore, the speaker commended PM Modi for elevating India’s stature on the global stage since assuming office in 2014. He noted the significant shift in international perception, emphasizing that when India speaks, the world listens, underscoring the country’s newfound global influence.

Reflecting on India’s role in humanitarian efforts amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the speaker expressed pride in how the war was temporarily halted to facilitate the safe passage of Indian citizens from Ukraine, showcasing India’s compassion and diplomatic prowess.

In political developments, the BJP announced Atul Garg as its candidate from the Ghaziabad constituency, following the withdrawal of Union Minister Gen (retd) VK Singh, the incumbent MP. Garg, currently a member of the state legislative assembly from Ghaziabad, will contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls scheduled for April 26. The Ghaziabad constituency, comprising five assembly areas, boasts over 29 lakh registered voters and will witness its votes counted on June 4.
