Lok Sabha 2024: Rahul Gandhi Files Nomination From Wayanad

Rahul Gandhi files nomination in Wayanad for 2024 Lok Sabha elections, after conducting a roadshow with sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. He faces BJP's K Surendran and CPI's Annie Raja in the contest.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi submitted his nomination papers in Wayanad for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He also conducted a roadshow in the constituency where he secured victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with a significant margin of over four lakh votes.

Rahul Gandhi arrived by helicopter at Muppainad village, and then traveled by road to Kalpetta, as stated by the Congress party. From Kalpetta, he conducted a roadshow. Rahul was joined by his sister Priyanka Gandhi, as well as All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretaries KC Venugopal and Deepa Das, along with other Congress leaders during the roadshow.

Rahul Gandhi will be contesting against BJP state president K Surendran and CPI leader Annie Raja in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Wayanad constituency.
