Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken ‘vow of silence’ in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail. The gangster is communicating through signals inside the jail. It is not for the first time that Bishnoi had taken ‘vow of silence’. But, whenever the gangster observes the practice, his henchmen tend to commit crimes. The jail authorities have not shared any details on his ‘vow of silence’. The gangster has been kept in a secured barrack of the prison.
Sources say that Lawrence often observes ‘vow of silence’ on Tuesday and he keeps fast during Navratri. During the nine days of fasting, he did not talk. If sources are to be believed he will break his silence on her birthday, February 12. Bishnoi’s name cropped up in Baba Siddiqui’s murder and firing at Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence.
Lawrence Bishoi has been placed in a secured, egg-shaped cell inside the Sabarmati prison. He did not share his space with inmates. Normally, notorious criminals are kept in isolated cells like egg-shaped cells. Since 2008, several masterminds or criminals involved in bomb-explosion cases were kept in such cells.
The prisoners kept in egg-shaped cells do not have contacts with other prisoners. Sources say no one prefers to talk to Lawrence inside the jail.
