A video posted on Instagram by a couture designer Shivangi Gupta, showcasing the lavish amenities of the Google office, Gurugram has taken social media by storm leaving some users envious while others questioning the workplace culture.
The clip offers a tour into a workday at Google which seems more like a luxury retreat than a traditional office.
From a stocked micro kitchen to a tech vending machine, a games room for brainstorming, and even post-lunch nap pods, the video shows a glimpse of a workplace designed for maximum comfort.
Shivangi documented her experience âForgot my cable, so I picked one up from the tech vending machine,â she says, before grabbing coffee and heading to the games room. After lunch, she took a nap, followed by emails and a massage chair session to wrap up the day. âI canât wait to come back tomorrow,â she adds.
The reel quickly gained momentum and has garnered over 13 million views accumulating mixed reactions from the netizens. Multiple users added hilarious comments to the video where one user added âIsse zyada kam toh log notice period me kar lete haiâ (Employees do more work than this during their notice period) another one commented âItna fun toh mai trip pe bhi nahi kar pataâ (I donât even have this much fun on vacation) another curiously asked â What is your profession or post in Googleâ with some users calling it their âdream workplaceâ and followed by other humours comments.
