Jammu: Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Congress candidate from Dooru constituency, stated that after two phases of elections in Jammu and Kashmir, his ground report suggests that only 1-2 seats in Kashmir may go to individuals and the BJP could secure a similar number in Jammu. He believes that the NC-Congress alliance or other secular candidates will dominate the remaining seats, predicting that Congress will win over 50% of the seats while the BJP will be reduced to fewer than 10 seats.

Former Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed strong disapproval over notices barring YSRCP members from visiting the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He stated that the ban, issued by the government, prevents party workers from attending his visit to the temple, warning them of potential legal action. Reddy emphasized that he had visited the temple multiple times, even before becoming CM, and claimed that the issue is being used to distract from Chandrababu Naidu's wrongdoings.

In response to the MUDA case, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's Financial Advisor, Basvaraj Rayareddi, stated there is no reason for the Chief Minister to resign, asking, "What wrong has he committed?" He clarified that the High Court's inquiry does not imply prosecution, asserting, "This is a political game and not a corruption case at all." Rayareddi emphasized that if there is any procedural lapse, it lies with MUDA, not the Chief Minister.
