The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for commuters regarding traffic disruptions at the Kalindi Kunj junction due to ongoing construction work for the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
In an effort to manage the traffic situation, the traffic police have outlined several measures to help ease congestion and minimize inconvenience for the public. “The ongoing construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, including the construction of a bridge at Agra Canal Road, is expected to continue for the next couple of months. Due to this, significant traffic congestion has been observed at Kalindi Kunj junction, especially as commuters from adjoining states pass through the area.” Said Delhi traffic police in a press statement.

For those traveling from Faridabad to Noida, an alternate route via Mathura Road and Road No. 13-Noida has been suggested to bypass the congested Kalindi Kunj area. Meanwhile, commuters traveling from Noida to Delhi are advised to use the DND (Delhi-Noida Direct) Flyover as an alternative to avoid the heavy traffic near the junction.
To further reduce the impact of the traffic disruptions, the Traffic Police strongly recommend planning journeys in advance and factoring in extra travel time. Public transport is also highly encouraged as a way to ease the load on road traffic and help reduce overall congestion. Commuters are reminded to avoid roadside parking in the area, as this can obstruct the flow of traffic and exacerbate the situation.
By following these guidelines and taking alternate routes, commuters can help reduce the impact of the ongoing construction work and ensure smoother travel through the affected areas.
