Muzaffarnagar: An undated video has recently gone viral, depicting a disturbing incident involving a teacher allegedly encouraging Hindu students to physically assault a Muslim student. The incident has caught the attention of the Muzaffarnagar Police in Uttar Pradesh, who have initiated an investigation into the matter.
In response to the video, the official Twitter handle of Muzaffarnagar Police announced that the station in-charge of Mansoorpur has been directed to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the necessary actions.
The teacher in question, reportedly identified as Tripta Tyagi in some reports, can be seen in the video making provocative statements. She can be heard addressing the students, saying, “I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai…” This statement translates to “I have declared all the Muslim children…” The teacher’s instructions seem to encourage Hindu students to physically harm a Muslim student present in the class.
The video raises concerns about the incident’s context and the circumstances under which it was captured. The teacher is seen having a conversation with an unidentified person off-camera, and it is not clear whether she was aware of being recorded.
During the video, a student is shown hitting another student, presumably the Muslim classmate, causing the latter to cry. The teacher’s voice can be heard guiding the students in their actions, urging them to inflict more forceful blows on the targeted student.
The incident reportedly took place at Neha Public School in the village of Khubbapur in Muzaffarnagar. In the video, students are seated on the floor of the classroom, and the teacher’s actions and words have ignited outrage and concern from various quarters.
