The ED raid against Prem Prakash was part of an operation by the central agency during which multiple raids were conducted at locations across Bihar and Jharkhand. The ED had raided 17 locations in Jharkhand on Wednesday, including 11 places in the capital Ranchi.

Ranchi: Prem Prakash, an accused in the illegal mining case, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) early on Thursday. The ED had conducted a raid at his home on Wednesday, during which the agency had recovered two AK-47 assault rifles.

The ED raid against Prem Prakash was part of an operation by the central agency during which multiple raids were conducted at locations across Bihar and Jharkhand. The ED had raided 17 locations in Jharkhand on Wednesday, including 11 places in the capital Ranchi.

Meanwhile, in the political corridors of Jharkhand, there was a stir as soon as 2 AK-47 rifles were found from the cupboard of Prem Prakash’s house.

The state unit of the BJP has called it exemption on corruption, while the state Congress has cited the rate of ED and CBI to suppress the rising inflation and unemployment in the country.

 

AK-47 rifles found in Ranchi’s Harmu

The ED team raided Harmu in the capital Ranchi, during which CRPF also took the lead as soon as AK-47 rifles were found there. Raids are going on not only in Jharkhand but in many parts of the country including Bihar. On the radar are the locations of Prem Prakash in the capital Ranchi.

Prem Prakash is known as PP in the political corridor of Jharkhand. This raid was about illegal mining, but now after getting AK-47 from there, a new twist has come in the matter.

 

Prem Prakash’s nexus in Jharkhand

Prem Prakash is considered to have a strong hold among Jharkhand’s bureaucrats and political parties. With his influence, he has been accused of doing many unfair things for a long time.

According to sources, after questioning Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s MLA representative Pankaj Mishra and others, the ED had started raids afresh. It was during this time that the name of Prem Prakash alias PP came to the fore. Then the ED tightened the screws on PP.

 

Prem Prakash became a lobbyist while supplying eggs

The famous name of the corridor of power in Jharkhand is of Prem Prakash. Known as PP in the corridors of power. It is said that Prem Prakash used to supply eggs for the mid-day meal. After this he became close to many IAS officers.

Currently, Prem Prakash is considered to have considerable influence in cases of transfer and posting of government officials.
